Jeff Mobley has been working trees in St. Johns County since 1998. He formed Jeff Mobley Tree Service, LLC in 2015. He is licensed and insured, and he works alongside his crew.
Where Jeff comes from
Jeff is a native Floridian of Muscogee descent, with family history in this part of the state going back generations.
It shows up in how he works a job. Every tree gets checked for nests and cavity wildlife before the first cut. When a healthy tree can safely stay, he says so, even when taking it down would be the bigger invoice.

What the work usually looks like
Much of it happens in tight spaces, around St. Augustine's oldest homes, where there's no room to drop a limb and guess. Second opinions are free, and so is construction consulting. If another company has quoted you to remove a tree, Jeff will come look at it and tell you what he sees.

I am a native Floridian and a direct descendant of the Seminole leader Osceola, through his sister. My family heritage on my father's side traces back to Chief William “Big Warrior” McIntosh and Chief Red Eagle. On my mother’s side, every generation since Chief Peter McQueen has carried forward our Muscogee Creek lineage.
Having this connection to my heritage is why I’m committed to truth and authenticity.

Every job starts with a walkthrough
Jeff walks the property with the homeowner before the crew starts. He shows what's coming down, where it's going to land, and how the crew will work around the power drop and anything else close to the work. Neighbors who are going to hear it get told first.
